About the teacher:
Gary has worked in all media over the past forty years, but watercolor has proven the most spontaneous and portable of all. Thirty- three years ago, at the urging of his mother who was a medical artist at Walter Reed Hospital, he began experimenting with this elusive medium.
Serving as Artist in Residence, Gary has participated in the Arts in Education Program of the Maryland state arts council. He is a member of the American Impressionist Society, the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society and was the former president of the Washington Society of Landscape Painters.
